Each year, I make it a priority to invest in my growth as both a photographer and a business owner. As a creative, I'm constantly inspired to explore new ideas—whether that's experimenting with different cameras, discovering new locations, or refining my artistic approach. One way I continue to challenge myself is by photographing at least one styled shoot each year, giving myself the space to create intentionally and push my creativity in new directions.

For this styled shoot in San Clemente, CA I was particularly excited about the elevated Western look and focusing primarily on using my new Pentax 645N to incorporate a 120mm film into each of my weddings.

I left feeling so inspired + truly in love with all of the film images I took! Being based in Bend, OR I felt like the chic western wedding vibe would fit in perfectly with a few of my clients while also giving me the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the stunning Swanner House. If you're dreaming of a wedding with timeless architecture, coastal charm, and an effortlessly elevated atmosphere, I can't recommend the Swanner House, the town of San Clemente, or the creative vision of the incredibly talented Chenelle of Wilde & Sage Co. enough.
